WHAT WE COMPOST
North Cascade Compost composts most organic materials including grass, leaves, weeds, food scraps, garden residue, brush, and stumps. There is no size limit on what you can bring. If you can get it here and unload it, we’ll take it.
* If food papers have foil or plastic on them, we cannot accept them.
* If an item is “biodegradable” it does not mean that it is compostable.

LOADING TIPS
How much should you carry?
Consider your vehicle weight capacity not volume. You should never haul more than the manufacturer recommends or what your suspension is designed for; regardless of there being “room” or not.
Tarp or not to tarp?
State law requires loads to be secured. Your load must be contained in your vehicle. Make sure you are not spilling anything from the top, bottom, or out the back– if it’s tarped or not.
Loading Minimums
To cover the cost of loading, each trip is charged a loader minimum.
